How to play My World

1. Start in a sheltered clearing in a 256 × 256 block valley. Find forests, a shallow lake, a winding river, hills and a connected cave route.
2. Choose Gather & Build to start empty-handed: hold Break or Q to mine, walk over the dropped blocks to collect them, then switch to Build. Grass drops earth. Mine logs for wood; stone drops cobblestone only when mined with a pickaxe. Creative has unlimited blocks and its own separate save.
3. In Gather & Build, E opens 27 storage slots and a nine-slot hotbar. Blocks and sticks stack to 64; tools occupy one slot and wear out. Placing a block spends one item. Dropped items disappear after five minutes; collect them before leaving. Your solo world, inventory and last safe position save in this browser. Come back on the same device to keep building. Clearing browser data removes this save.
4. Open Crafting inside the inventory: one log makes four planks, two planks make four sticks and four planks make a crafting table. Place the table nearby to craft wooden or stone pickaxes, axes and shovels. Select tools in the hotbar and hold Break or Q to use them.
5. Play with a friend creates a separate online copy for up to four players, saved for 30 days. Keep its private invitation to return.
6. Follow the cobblestone trail west to the cave entrance. Mine coal ore with a pickaxe, then craft four torches from one coal and one stick. Place torches on solid floors. Explore three underground chambers and build bridges above lava. Lava returns you to the entrance with your inventory intact. Mine deeper iron ore with a stone pickaxe. Craft a furnace from eight cobblestones at a table, then smelt raw iron with coal, wood or sticks. Each ingot takes ten seconds. Aim at a furnace and press E to open it. Collect the ingots to craft iron tools. Furnace contents and progress save with the world. Peaceful sheep roam and graze on the meadows in both world styles. They avoid deep drops and water, and their positions save with the world. In Gather & Build, break tall grass for seeds. Craft a wooden hoe, till clear grass or earth, and plant seeds on the low bank within four blocks of water under open sky. Wheat turns golden after about three minutes of nearby play. Break ripe wheat to collect wheat and seeds. Hold wheat to lead sheep. Two iron ingots make shears: select them and click Use on a nearby woolly sheep, then collect and build with its wool. Grazing on grass regrows the coat. Crop progress and sheep coats save with the world; paused and unloaded worlds do not grow. Feed two nearby adults one wheat each with Use; hearts show readiness for one minute. Step back to let them meet and have a lamb. Parents rest for five minutes and lambs grow in five minutes of nearby play; feeding a lamb reduces the remaining wait by 10%. Lambs follow their parents and cannot be sheared until grown. Up to 12 sheep live in a world. Family and growth state save without offline ageing. Night survival is a later stage.
